Vivek Sharma enjoys treating a wide variety of patients and has a keen interest in Neuro-musculoskeletal rehabilitation, including but not limited to concussion, neck and low back pain, vertigo, chronic pain, soft tissue conditions. He is currently rostered with the College of Physiotherapists for acupuncture and dry needling. Vivek completed a Bachelor in Physiotherapy from Doon College of Physiotherapy (HNB Garhwal University) and Master’s in Physiotherapy from Jamia Hamdard, India.
Vivek practiced in numerous teaching hospitals in India before immigrating to Canada in 2014. He has previously worked in a variety of health care settings such as community clinics, family health team, long term care, and hospitals.
Apart from being involved in clinical work, he holds academic affiliation with McMaster University, School of Rehab Sciences and University of Toronto, Department of Physiotherapy. He has several scientific publications credited to his name. Over the years, Vivek has taken many professional development courses to improve his clinical skills and strongly believes in continuous learning and evidence-based practice.
